TEST GARDEN National - Sustainable sleepers

ProRail. Connects. Improves. Preserves. Based on those strategic objectives, ProRail is looking for sustainable sleepers. At the moment only concrete sleepers are used in the track, but concrete does not have a good CO2 footprint. There are sleepers from italternative materials in development. In addition to the fact that ProRail attaches importance to the use of CO2 reduction and sustainable materials, reducing noise and vibrations is also a sustainability aspect that ProRail focuses on.
