RTE intends to replace its TV Playout Servers in 2020. The playout servers reside in presentation and are used to playout all non-live content on RTE`s linear channels RTE One, RTE2 and RTE Junior.

RTE intends to replace its TV Playout Servers in 2020. The playout servers reside in presentation and are used to playout all non-live content on RTE`s linear channels RTE One, RTE2 and RTE Junior.

There are two playout servers in presentation. Each playout server has 12 ports giving RTE full resilience across three channels (RTE One, RTE 2 and RTE Junior) as well as providing a full test/backup channel.
