Currently, Lugoj municipality is in progress with S.C. Meridian 22 S.A. (a company whose sole shareholder is UTT Lugoj) a public service contract concluded on December 23, 2013, which is due to expire on December 31, Taking into account its expiry date, Lugoj Municipality is seeking to conclude a new contract (Regulation, C(s)) to delegate the management of the public transport service through a competitive procedure in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EC) 1370/2007.

The expected duration of the contract for the delegation of the management of the local public transport service for urban buses, by regular flights, will be maximum 6 years, the estimated start date of the contract is 15.6.2019.the transport program requires an estimated number of 424 495 km / year
