II.2.4) Description of Procurement:

GeThe object of the procurement procedure is the conclusion of up to 4 framework contracts (without obligation of the client) to manufacture and supply train information monitors (ZIM3) and associated system components for the traffic stations of Deutsche Bahn AG as well as supplementary services, including optional maintenance services. Maximum 3 RahmenvertraegThese can be concluded with a single supplier. Lots 3 and 4 out of a total of 4 lots will be in the form of regional lots

- Lot 3 "North": Schleswig-Holstein, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Brandenburg, Berlin, Saxony-Anhalt, Hamburg, Bremen, Lower Saxony, Saxony, Thueringen

- Lot 4 "South": North Rhine-Westphalia, Rhineland-Palatinate, Saarland, Hesse, Baden-Wuerttemberg, Bavaria

Tendered and given to different bidders.

The services to be provided for Tender Batches 1 and 2 consist in particular of:

1) production and delivery of the fully operational hardware of the indicators, prepared for connection to existing power supply and data connections.

2) A software package that consists of the following parts:

a. driverswhich allow the connection and operation of the sensors contained in the indicators.

b. Integration of the software provided by DB.

3) The services necessary for a successful installation, commissioning and continuous operation.

For the Uncalled lots 3 and 4, a reduced scope of services applies which deviates from the specifications, appendices and the evaluation matrix nThe central and decentralized software components for the control of the indicators as well as the realization of additional indicator functions are provided by the DB. These as well as the IT infrastructure necessary for their operation are not part of the tender. The display variants are made up of

- 1-sided ZIM 200 "LED, ZIM 150" LED and 2-sided ZIM 75 "ultrawide LED (Master Slave), ZIM 55" wide LED (Master Slave) in RGB LED technology

- 1-sided ZIM 75 "and 2-sided ZIM 75" ultrawide (master slave), ZIM 55 "wide (master slave) in LCD TFT technology

- 1-sided ZIM 55" indoor, ZIM 65 "indoor, ZIM 75 "indoor in LCD-TFT technology

The scope of supply also includes the delivery and optional commissioning of the indicator hardware, project management, specification, documentation and the provision of training services in addition to a maintenance framework agreement with the contractor separately and optionally commissioned by the clientn Maintenance services completed. The details of the scope of services are set out in the specifications and the specifications. The services and documentation to be commissioned are provided and processed entirely in German.

For the 2-sided train indicators in LED / TFT technology, a mounting concept with a uniform indicator-side mounting plate sas well as a flexible angle of inclination (see specification sheet 1). However, the assembly of all indicator variants (lots 1-4) is not part of this invitation to tender. They are used by the assembly partner of DB depending on the local circumstances.

At least the copy of a current extract from the commercial register (not older than 12 months) or an equivalent document of the country of origin (if applicable including a certified translation) must be enclosed in German language.
