With the present call for tenders, the Klinikum Braunschweig is looking for an external service provider to handle the billing of private and medical services medical services for the hospital. The order referencet is the execution of the entire private liquidation of inpatient elective care services for currently 33 physicians of various departments of the Klinikum Braunschweig.

The Staedtisches Klinikum Braunschweig gGmbH (SKBS) is the maximum care hospital for the Braunschweig region. With 1499 plan beds, it is one of the largest hospitals in Germany. The order refers to the execution of the entire private liquidation of in - patient medical services for currently 33 physicians of various departments of the Clinic BraunschweigKlinikum 3 external service providers for all chief physicians. The clinic aims for a solution whereby only one external service provider on behalf of the hospital will be active and complete the billing of private and medical services for the entire hospital. The necessary agreements with the chief physicians will be made by the hospital.

The order for billingof private and medical services essentially comprises the following components of performance: - the assumption, recording or determination as well as complete evaluation of the inpatient medical services that can be billed on the basis of the provided billing documents, billing the invoice and sending it, billing the incoming payment, Execution of the extrajudicial court- Documentation of the invoices per liquidation-entitled doctor for the previous month (billing journal), - Preservation of a telephone hotline, - Possible introduction of an IT tool for evaluating the patient documentation based on the electronic files of the hospital
