CPV Description: An international, electronic tender for (Procurement no. 411/2018) - Laboratory, optical and precision equipments (excluding glasses) - The object of the contract is the procurement and installation of equipment to support research, technological development and of the Innovation of the Departments of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. It consists of 75 sections for which it is submitted separatelythe total budget of EUR 4 299 838, 70 without VAT (EUR 5 331 800, 00 including VAT).

Guarantees

The letters of guarantee in paragraphs 2.2.2 and 4.1. issued by credit or financial institutions or insurance undertakings within the meaning of Article 14 (b) and (c) of Law No 4364/2016 (A 13), legally operating in the Member States of the Union or the European Economic Areaor in the GPA member states and have this right in accordance with the applicable provisions. They can also be issued by the ETAA. - TEME or be provided with a deposit slip of the Deposits and Loans Fund, with a deposit of the respective amount of money. If a Depositary Depositing Depositary Deposits is deposited with the Deposits and Loans Fund, the coupons or portionsmaturities expiring in the course of the guarantee shall be reimbursed after their maturity to the economic operator in favor of the guarantee.

Letters of guarantee shall be issued at the option of economic operators by one or more of the issuers referred to in the above paragraph. The guarantee is returned to the contractor on presentation of the performance guarantee. The participation guarantee is returnedto the other tenderers following: a) the expiry of the time limit for bringing an action or the taking of a decision on an appeal against the award decision; and b) the expiry of the time limit for the application of interim measures or the adoption of a decision on them; and c) the completion of pre-contractual audits by the Court of Auditors.

Performance guarantee

The signing of the contract requires the performance of a performance guarantee, according to article 72 par. 1 b) of Law 4412/2016, the amount of which amounts to 5%of the value of the contract, with the exception of VAT, and deposited before or at the time of signing the contract.

The performance guarantee must, in order to be accepted, include as a minimum the elements mentioned hereinabove as well as the number and title of the relevant declaration. Its term of validity should be for an indefinite period or at least two (2) months after the end of the term• The performance guarantee for the contract covers a comprehensive and non-discriminatory application of all the terms of the contract and any claim by the contracting authority against the contractor. contractor.

In the event of a change in the contract, which entails an increaseor the value of the contract, the contractor is required to lodge, before the amendment, a supplementary guarantee amounting to 5% of the amount of the increase, excluding VAT. The performance guarantee shall be reimbursed after final quantitative and qualitativecontract. If the final qualitative and quantitative receipt protocol contains observations or there is a delayed delivery, the return of the above guarantees is made after the observations and delays have been dealt with.

Guarantee of Good Operation

The contractor is obliged, unless otherwise specified in the individual specifications of the species, after the completion of the pin accordance with paragraph 2 of article 72 of Law 4412/2016, a Letter of Guarantee of Good Functioning of Contractual Items, amounting to 1% of the value of the contract and for a period of at least one (1) year.

In the event of non-compliance, in whole or in part, with the contractor, the collective body may propose total or partial forfeiture of the goodwill provided for in this Article. The protocol is approved by the competent decision-making body.

Deposit Guarantee

In the case of an advance payment of a higher amount than that covered by the performance guaranteeshall be provided by the advance contractor in accordance with Article 72 (4) of Law 4412/2016 to cover the difference between the amount of the performance guarantee and the amount of the advance paid. The advance and the advance deposit guarantee may be granted in part, in accordance with paragraph 5.1. of this (payment method).

On repayment, interest will be charged on the advance paid and for the period from the date of receipt of the advance to the date of final and qualitative reception.
