The municipality and the OCMW Ichtegem serve for the statutory pensions (1st pillar) of their mandatories themselves.

The municipality and the OCMW provide a considerable increaseof the pension costs of their mandatories.

In order to cope with the future increase in these pension costs, the municipality and the OCMW wish to form a financial buffer by means of the creation of a reserve in an insurance contract that yields a stable and uniform global return. (type traditional management - branch 21)
