Ink products. The subject matter of the contract is the supply of printer consumables, faxes, etc., for the needs of the University of Patras.

Guaranteed Participation

For the valid participation in the process of concluding this contract, the participating economic operators (tenderers), a letter of guaranteeor participation, the amount of which will have to be in euros (2%) of the estimated value (estimated cost) of the contract, excluding VAT in the case of bidding for one or more types of contract, the amount of the participation guarantee is calculated on the estimated value (estimated cost), excluding VAT, of the offered items / items.

In the caseassociation of economic operators, the guarantee of participation also includes the condition that the guarantee covers the obligations of all the economic operators participating in the association.

The participation guarantee must be valid for at least 30 days after the end of the term of validity of the tender in Article 2.4.5 hereof, otherwise the offer will be rejected. The contracting authority may, before the end of the bid, it shall ask the tenderer to extend the term of validity of the tender and of the participation guarantee before their expiry.

The participation guarantee is returned to the contractor on presentation of the performance guarantee.

Performance Letter of Guarantee

For the signing of the contract, a performance guarantee is required, according to article 72 par. 1 b) of Law 4412/2016, the amount of which amounts to 5% of the value of the contract, excluding VAT. and deposited before or at the signing of the contract.

The performance guarantee must be valid for at least 8 months, fromthe date of signature of the contract.

The performance guarantee, in order to be accepted, must include at least the elements mentioned in paragraph 2.1.5 hereof and, in addition, the title of the relevant contract.

The performance guarantee for the contract covers in a comprehensive and non-discriminatory manner the application of the terms of the contract and any claim by the contracting authority oneof the contractor, including an equivalent amount to the advance.

In the event of a change in the contract, pursuant to paragraph 4.4, which entails an increase in the contract value, the Contractor shall be required to lodge before the amendment an additional guarantee amounting to 5% of the amount of the increase, .P.A.

The good performance warrantyin the event of a breach of the terms of the contract, as it specifies.

The performance guarantee is repaid in its entirety after the final and qualitative delivery of the object of the contract. If the final qualitative and quantitative receipt protocol contains observations or there is a delayed delivery, the return of the above guarantee is made after dealing with the observationsand the overdue.
