Calcium (Ca2+) Imaging System

Purchase of a complete system to be used for wide-field Ca2+ imaging experiments. Experimentation planned for this system shall include both acute and chronic acquisition of neuronal activity from a large portion of the cortex, in head-fixed mice or rats, in both behaving and non-behaving paradigms. The acquisition of Ca2+ signal shall be coupled with electrical stimulation of cortical areas. The planned experiment should also involve recording of field potentials and optogenetic stimulation.
