Grassland and plant maintenance work on the Main-Danube Canal in the area of the ABz Nuernberg 2020

The subject of the tender is maintenance work on landscaped lawns (extensive lawns) taking into account nature conservation law, as well as plant maintenance work on the buildings of the Main-Danube Canal in the area of the outsidedistricts of Nuernberg.

Main Site: Main-Danube Canal between MDK km 40, 550 (Erlangen) and 83, 800 (Leerstetten, Roth district).

The work will take place within a distance of approx. 43 km, in particular at the following facilities:

- 4 Ship lock systems,

- 24 canal side dams,

- 7 canal bridge systems,

- 3 road bridge systems,

- 17 passages, ducts and underpasses,

- 14 inletConstruction structures,

- 9 graves,

- 56 km of bank revetment with water change zone,

- approx. 480 groundwater measuring points,

- approx. 580 navigation signs, hectometer and Dueker stones and bollards,

- 1 security gate,

- various embankment stairs, guardrails, channels and access roads,

- wood maintenance work.
