Landspitali, University Hospital, calls for tenders for two Heart-lung Bypass Machines for use in open heart surgery as further specified in the Invitation to Tender (ITT) documents. The ITT is for a Heart-lung Bypass Machine for the clinical service in The Cardio-Thoracic Surgery Department at Landspitali University Hospital at the Hringbraut Campus in Reykjavik, Iceland. This Heart-lung Bypass Machine must be suitable for and support the medical service and the clinical environment in Landspitali. Landspitali intends to acquire two Heart-lung Bypass Machines ECC (extra corporeal circulation) that will be used in two operating rooms that offer limited space and therefore the equipments small footprint is important. A data management system accompanying the heart lung machine is of much importance. It is expected to collect patient information, treatment parameters and facilitate data management to increase staff efficiency, patient safety, for information storage and statistic work.
