Renovation and extension of the new Gymnasium Nuernberg - ELT planning

refurbishment and extension of the New Gymnasium Nuernberg in the Weddigenstrasse.

Built in 1959 by Friedrich Seegy Gebaeude, the gymnasium and the janitorial building are listed buildings. In 2010, the main building was already renovated energetically; the following year, a fire protection renovation took place.

The four-to-date linguistic and humanistic grammar school is to be extended by a branch of music. In this course, also a 3-fold gymnasium will be built.

With the Lower MonumentSchutzbehoerde is still to be agreed whether the existing gymnasium and the caretakers house demolished and make a new building space. The pavilion from 1969 and the locker room at the sports field from the 1970s can be broken off. For the locker room replacement must be created. The IZBB building (built in 2006) is to be maintained and according to the school / urban requirementsTasks:

1) The refurbishment of the NGN, in particular the fields of bio, chemistry, physics, art and music; Development of the 3rd floor for school use;

2) The extension of the gymnasium to a musical branch; 3) The construction of a gymnasium, possibly 3-fold gym (if the two existing gymnasiums are allowed to be canceled); A5) The renovation of the fish creek is to be included in the measure, possibly as a separate accompanying measure.
