The state of Baden-Wuerttemberg is promoting the establishment of learning factories 4.0 at the state`s vocational schools. The aim of the learning factories is to train specialist and junior staffPrepare offices for the requirements of digitization. These are laboratories that are similar in structure and equipment to industrial automation solutions and in which the basics for application-related processes can be learned. Mechanical engineering and electrical engineering are linked by professional production control systems. Trainees should iThe deal is prepared for the requirements of digitization and the digitization of the economy can also be made tangible for young people.

The district of Hohenlohekreis has successfully participated in the call for funding from the state of Baden-Wuerttemberg for its two vocational schools in Kuenzelsau and Oehringen.

The subject of this award procedure is Awarding the realization of 2 "Learning factories 4.0 "at the Kuenzelsau and Oehringen locations. The laboratory equipment to be procured should be integrated as best as possible into the already installed laboratory equipment at the two locations.

The total project costs amount to approx. EUR 774 717.00 gross. This represents the implementation of the hardware 737 217.00 EUR gross as well as for the accompanying training and advice37, 500.00 EUR gross.

The services to be awarded are expected to be provided from September 1, 2020 and are expected to be completed by November 1, 2020.
