The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust wishes to implement energy cost and carbon saving measures to reduce its total energy bill and carbon emissions by 20 % by 2020 to meet stringent budget constraints as well as carbon reduction obligations.
Main Site : Shropshire CC.
This project was initiated by an energy survey to identify technical opportunities to reduce energy costs and carbon emissions across the site to meet ever increasing financial and environmental pressures. From the survey a number of electrical improvements were identified as follows:
— LED lighting,
— PIR sensors,
— PoU time fused spurs,
— street lighting,
— variable speed drives.
The Shropshire Healthcare Procurement Services (`SHPS`) is a shared procurement service for the Hospitals in Shropshire and is carrying out this procurement for on behalf of Member Trust(s).
Member Trusts include: The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Shrewsbury and Telford Hospitals NHS Trust and Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust. The tender documentation will detail the participating authorities relevant to this tender.
