The Banque Misr (the Client) has requested the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the "EBRD" or the "Bank") to provide funding to finance Internal Capacity-Building for SME Lending (the Project), on the basis of the Consultancy Procurement Document (CPD) in attachment..

The objectives of the Assignment are to support the Client with advice and practical implementation of the following:.

(a) Build internal capacity at Banque Misr through staff training as well as review, recommendations and assistance in implementation measures aimed at expanding SME lending;.

(b) Assess feasibility, provide recommendations and assist with implementation of credit scoring model for SMEs;.

Consultant Selection Procedure: Single stage open competitive selection.

Cost Estimate for the Assignment: 350 000 EUR (exclusive of VAT)..
