Cranes in Rupperswil-Auenstein

Cranes currently installed in the hangars of the Rupperswil-Auenstein power plant (KRA) are to be replaced. For this reason, it is planned to purchase two cranes with a main lifting unit of 125 tons and an auxiliary lifting unit of 10 tons. In general, the main unit will not beused only during the review of plant facilities, every 10 to 20 years. On the other hand, the auxiliary unit will be used regularly. These new cranes must be in operation at least until the end of the concession of the plant in 2075. The services include the acquisition and assembly, but also the dismantling and disposal of existing cranes, which are the subject ofa separate cost item in the pricing sheet (Part 6 of the tender documents). Maintenance during the warranty period is also part of the tender.

The desired dates will be taken into account in the order of registration. After a safety training provided by an employee of the plant, the bidder will go to the cranes, and carry out the inspection independently. The tenderer undertakes to remain in the spaces defined by the collaborator of the plant. During the visit, the questions are not-not allowed. Detailed information on the questions and written answers is provided in ch. 1.3 of this publication. Further information on the visit is given in ch. 8.4 of the specifications (part 4A). Replies will be kept and communicated in writing to all potential tenderers by 13.11.2018.

Announcement of bid submissionThey are required to announce, no later than 2 weeks before the date mentioned in section 1.4, a possible offer to the contact person mentioned in section 1.1.

General reserves: are reserved the maturity of the project, the provision of the corresponding credit, the approval of the competent bodies of the SBB (Board of Directors) and the entry into force of the award decisions-SBB.

Requests for amendment of the draft contract: SBB reserves the right to reject requests to modify the draft contract. In case of rejection, refer to the draft contract concerning these points, cf. Part 3 of the commercial tender documents for the tender.
