On the basis of the Energy Plan of the City of Bern, ewb is obliged to expand the district heating network and to develop new urban areas throughout the country. In addition to technical issues, legal, financial, organizational andcommunicative topics are dealt with and solved.

In the coming years, construction work for district heating will begin at the Forsthaus energy center. In 2020, the first connected buildings are to receive district heating. For the time afterwards, ewb plans in stages, the further expansion of the network. The goal is to supply as many medium-term households as possible with district heating in the west of the city of Berndeliver, on the one hand, to meet the requirements of the Energy Plan 2035, and on the other hand, because a dense network ensures a high level of efficiency.

The supporting documents must be provided by the helpdesks (municipalities, KAnton, Verbaenden, Kassen etc.), must not be older than one year and have to show that all due premiums have been paid.

Since the proofs are valid from the date of issue for one year, they have to be submitted only once a year. The providers are recommended to order all proofs at the same time from the helpdesks. The self-declaration is always to be submitted.

The self-declaration and the evidence according to Art. 20 OeBV must also be submitted to subcontractors and consortia.

Suppliers with registered office outside Switzerland must submit analogous confirmations from their country.

Only offers in Swiss francs and without exchange rate reservations are admitted to the procedure;
