Almere is barely forty years old. It is an adolescent city, still in full development. Until 2040 the city will put the next stap in her development. In November 2013, an Implementation Agreement Almere 2.0 between the Government, the Province of Flevoland and Almere was concluded with a joint substantive ambition for the growth of the city and a corresponding financial Fund: the Almere Urbanization Fund. In the Fund's Multi-Year Program, the realization of Almere 2.0 will focus for the next five to ten yearss the following five program lines:

- Strengthen the heart of the city

- Strengthen the learning and working environment

- The energy neutral and waste-free city / Energy on Upcycling

- Strengthen places to stay, culture, recreation and tourism

- Innovative living

The Flevo Campus is a key project within program line 2 Strengthen Learning and Working Environment. For the further development of the Flevo Campus, a knowledge- and innovation cluster in the making, we are in the short term looking for a project manager. As part of a small, decisive organization, the project leader is responsible for coordinating all external communications originating from the projects of the Flevo Campus. In addition, the project leader is responsible for the internal preparation thereof with the partners of the-campus: Aeres Group, Amsterdam Institute of Metropolitan Solutions (AMS), the municipality of Almere and the province of Flevoland.

In 2019, the cooperation between the four lead partners will be evaluated and the aim is to make the Flevo Campus in 2020 more autonomous. The project manager reign can also play a role in the preparations for this in 2019.
