Team ICT Management

Within the Information Management and ICT 2 unit, ICT management manages and maintains and innovatesthere is the extensive infrastructure of Province of North Brabant and the team is responsible for the technical management of many application environments.

This includes the following tasks:

- Operational management of workplace equipment and the OTAP-based underlying server park

- Making data accessible -, information and sources of knowledge

- Proactive maintenance of the technical infrastructure (hasoftware, software, network, databases) to support day-to-day processes

- Provision of facilities such as internet (security), e-mail and teleworking

- Management of the telecom facilities

- Participation in IT projects of the Province of Noord- Brabant

The position

As a Senior ICT administrator you are responsible for the daily management of the technical infrastructure with kerntain the Microsoft, VMWare ESX and Citrix environment / HP client environment. You carry out preventive management activities and maintenance work, analyze faults and correct them. Knowledge in the field of ITIL is required. You also participate as a project employee in projects that require the deployment of a Senior administrator.

Tasks

- the day-to-day management of the Microsoft server.including the Microsoft products running on it, such as System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Active Directory, Internet Information Services (IIS), - the day-to-day management of the VMWare vSphere ESX environment, - the first or second line, analyzing and solving faults in the aforementioned environments;

- carrying out maintenance work within the aforementionedenvironment -

- as a project employee taking part in ICT-related projects

- supporting the management of Citrix XenDesktop, Ivanti Workspace, Microsoft App-V packaging / environment

Working hours can be set up in consultation with the rest of the team . In addition, it may happen that work must be done outside the standard working hours. There is presence due to work meetings-on Monday required.
