Framework agreement (4 years) delivery and maintenance of mountain bikes

The Contracting Entity hereby invites you to submit a Tender for a Framework Agreement (4 years) for the delivery and the maintenance of mountain bikes from the Ministry of Defense. The desired effective date of the Framework Agreement is 1.12.2018.

De Contracting body intends to conclude a 4-year framework agreement for the delivery and maintenance of mountain bikes. Within the Ministry of Defense, 1 650 mountain bikes are in use, spread over more than 50 locations. The mountain bikes are used for various purposes. The type "Current defense MTB" and "Derailleur upgrade" are mainly for sports purposes, twhile the "Pinion" can be deployed in mission areas, but is also used operationally within the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee at airports for example.

Due to the large amount of mountain bikes and the distribution over various locations in the Netherlands, the Tenderer must have a national coverage for maintenance the mountain bikes. The Tenderer also issues the maintenanceto the mountain bikes at the Defense location in Muenster (Germany)

The Contracting Authority expects to replace 30% of the "Current Defense MTB" with the "Derailleur upgrade" type during the term of the Framework Agreement. In addition, the contracting authority expects to purchase mountain bikes - 250 "Pinion". No rights can be derived from these numbersld in the tender documents
