In the context of this tender, the municipality intends to purchase basic skills courses (language, maths, and digital skills). The municipality of Amsterdam opts for competence-based learning. The municipality strives to strengthen the language network, where the formal and informal providers know each otherto increase the reach of the less self-reliant target group. A greater role is required from the language provider (s) to strengthen the connection to the informal network. With the language offensive, the municipality also wants to provide a range that matches the possibilities and needs of people from Amsterdam that we have had difficulty reaching until now. We purchase practical courses for this. Andcourses that train to the literate level (B1 / 2F) and help people to receive vocational training. This tender also concerns the regional municipalities that fall under the Greater Amsterdam region under the Education and Vocational Education Act (WEB)
