Description : BACKGROUND

The United Nations Children`s Fund (UNICEF) currently supports the National Health Service in a process of continuous quality improvement and humanization of care for mothers and newborns in which, through observations to the clinical practice in the areas Prenatal Consultation, Pregnancy, Childbirth, Immediate Care for the Newborn, Postpartum and Breastfeeding. The purpose of the process is improvement con quality to determine compliance with regulations and protocols.

At present, observations on clinical practice are made by observers from the National Health Service and UNICEF guided by observation tools (annexindex analysis and calculation process (annexClinical ica and its subsequent results and reports in a more efficient way. This reduces the time and use of resources.
