The Government of Jamaica (GOJ), through the United Nations Environment Programme, has received financing from the Global Environment Facility (GEF). The GOJ intends to apply part of the proceeds to implement the National Sub-Project 1.4 Biodiversity Mainstreaming in Coastal landscapes within the Negril Environmental Protection Area of Jamaica, for the engagement of a Consultant Firm. The selected Consultant will undertake assessment on Impact of Approved Development on the Environment. The purpose of the consultancy is to, among others, assess the extent to which NEPA-s approved developments have impacted (positive or negative) the natural environment and to provide the Agency with appropriate recommendations for improvements, policy amendments and programmatic response. Bid Submission Date: Proposals must be submitted online via www.gojep.gov.jm no later than 3:00 p.m. Jamaica time on Tuesday, 20 October 2020. Late proposals will be automatically rejected by the system.
The Bidder must provide, with Proposal, a valid copy of their Tax Compliance Letter (TCL)/Tax Compliance Certificate from the Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ).
