Detailed design, construction supervision and accompanying measures for multi-sectoral investment program Gaza

Programme Measures

The objective of the project is that the power supply of the relevant public infrastructure in Gaza is more reliable, efficient and climate friendly, primarily by rehabilitating existing pump stations, booster stations, and wells, installation of PV-plants all over the Gaza Strip and optionally restructuring of a main sewage transmission main and sewage pumping stations in Gaza City. Tasks:

Overall management of the project and administration of the project (e.g. disposition funds);
Elaborating the details of the project design;
Designing and implementing the tender process;
Environmental and Social Impact Assessment;
Construction supervision;
Assistance to the PEA during Defects Notification Period;
Training measures to establish and support the Energy Efficiency Team of CMWU;
Collection of baseline data, verification, monitoring and analysis of achieved performance;
Support in the preparation of the required reporting that will be submitted from PEA to KfW.
