Title : Consulting Services for Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMP)

Description : Consulting Services for Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMP) of Proposed Handling and Transportation of Dredged Material from Lavender Hill, Odawna, Korlena and Pasico Sites to Final Disposal Sites in the Greater Accra Region.The Ministry of Works and Housing (MWH) has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Greater Accra Resilient and Integrated Development Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services. The Project will be implemented through five interrelated Components, namely:1. Climate Resilient Drainage and Flood Mitigating Activities; 2. Solid Waste Management Capacity Improvements; 3. Participatory Upgrading of Targeted Flood Prone Low-Income Communities and Local Government Support;4. Project Management; and 5. Contingent Emergency Response Component (CERC)-COVID-19 Emergency Preparedness and Response Project.The main objective of this assignment is to prepare an Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMP) of the handling of the dredged material at the handling sites and transportation of the handled material from the handling sites to the gates of the final disposal sites at Anyaa in the Ga Central Municipality and Pokuase in the Ga West Municipality.The consulting service (“the Services”) is to prepare an ESMP, capturing the outcomes of the environmental and social assessment of the dredged material hand...
