Expression of Interest are invited for Consulting Services: Development of a Compendium of Investment Opportunities in Lesotho.

The Government of the Kingdom of Lesotho has received financing from the African Development Fund towards implementation of the Economic Diversification Support Project and intends to apply part of the agreed amount for this loan to payments under the contract for consultancy services for the Development of Compendium of Investment opportunities in Lesotho.

The services included under this project are:

a) Develop a compendium of investment opportunities in Lesotho’s (i) manufacturing, (ii) tourism, and (iii) agriculture and agro-processing sectors and strategic projects in consultation with Lesotho National Development Corporation (LNDC), Lesotho Tourism Development Corporation (LTDC)and other stakeholders;

b) Develop concepts for the videos for investment and trade promotion and marketing in consultation with LNDC and LTDC as well as a storyboard for the videos;

c) Develop technical specifications on the quality needed and scope for the Corporation’s promotional material regarding interactive and static materials;

d) Develop final library of high quality digital video for use in investment and trade promotion and marketing;

e) Present the final investment opportunities as promotional content and package it as high quality video that can be distributed through the website and other digital media. This should specifically include high quality and interactive presentations and marketing content (videos) that adhere to LNDC and LTDC brand Corporate Identity (and Brand Lesotho CI) for the investment opportunities;

f) Provide training to investment promotion staff of LNDC and LTDC to ensure that they are well capacitated to undertake their duties.

The estimated duration of this assignment shall be for a total of 260 days over a period of 12 months from the date of signing of the contract.

The Government of the Kingdom of Lesotho through the Ministry of Trade and Industry now invites eligible Consulting Firms to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Consultants may constitute joint-ventures to enhance their chances of qualification.

Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the Procurement Policy and Methodology for Bank Group Funded Operations, dated October 2015, which is available on the Bank’s website at http://www.afdb.org.
