Project measures:
The Ruzizi III project is a hydroelectric project (147 MW) to be built on the Ruzizi River, on the border between the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and the Republic of Rwanda in the Great Lakes region (région des Grands Lacs). The project responds to the problem of the energy deficit in the Great Lakes sub-region (Burundi, DR Congo and Rwanda).

Requested consultancy services:
For this project, EGL acts on behalf of the states and energy buyers (National Electricity Companies). During the various development phases of the Ruzizi III project. The EGL will be assisted by a consulting firm with multidisciplinary skills including technical, legal, financial, environmental and commercial. The objective of the consultants mandate is to support the EGL, the States and the Purchasers during the implementation of the project in all matters typically relevant within the above mentioned frameworks.
