Tenders are invited for Consulting Design of a Specialized Educational Migration Module for Teachers.

BACKGROUND:

The subregional project "Return and Reintegration in the Northern Triangle of Central America " seeks to work in coordination and through existing structures in the countries of origin with the objective of providing immediate assistance to unaccompanied children and returned migrant families, and strengthen capacities of the governments for an adequate reception and attention to said population.

As part of the project activities, IOM will support the Government of El Salvador in the generation of tools and instruments related to the Reintegration of returnees, in order to strengthen national capacities to address the migrant population.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES : **

· Prepare a diagnosis on the educational contents developed in the MINED study programs based on the topics proposed by the technical monitoring committee.

· Develop a didactic tool that contains information on the subject of migration, its relationship with human rights and its impact on individuals, families and communities

PROFILE REQUIRED BY THE CONSULTANT:

· Experience in university academic training in the area of ??social sciences and related.

· Experiences in studies on migration issues.

· Experience in design and implementation of educational material for children, adolescents and young people, especially with Government entities and / or NGOs.

· Proven experience in non-formal education activities for migrant and vulnerable populations.

· Show social sensitivity, honesty and empathy.

· Experience in the development of workshops and training.

. TERM OF THE RECRUITMENT

The estimated term for the completion of this consultancy is 6 months, from the signing of the contract between IOM and the consultant.

PERIOD OF RECEPTION OF CONSULTATIONS :

The period of receipt of consultations is from Monday 30 to Tuesday July 31, 2018.
