Tender Details

Tenders are invited for provision of two consultants to provide support to the SIMOS team (SDDS).

The European Organisation for the Safety of Air Navigation (EUROCONTROL) was founded in 1960 by six States. It now has 41 Member States. EUROCONTROL‘s mission is to harmonise and integrate air navigation services in Europe, aiming at the creation of a uniform air traffic management (ATM) system for civil and military Users, in order to achieve the safe, secure, orderly, expeditious and economic flow of traffic throughout Europe, while minimising adverse environmental impact.

The Surveillance Data Distribution System SDDS is a versatile, extensible communication system designed in a modular way by applying a layered architecture with a base platform that allows a multitude of plug-ins to be integrated. The base platform provides all system management functions as well as a static library set that provides communication functions (connection establishment, alternative data path selection, load determination etc.) through an open API. The present tender action relates to the outsourcing, under the form of two time based contracts for assistance service to support the development, implementation and support of SDDS within the Surveillance Services context.

Who should tender: Contractors having the ability to propose experienced consultants with an engineering degree and the required expertise to support SDDS team.
