Request for proposals are invited for Consultant Selection for Data Quality Review Study.

The Government of Senegal ("Government" or "GoS") has been selected for the Millennium Challenge Corporation ("MCC") grant, named Compact, and plans to allocate a portion of the fund`s revenue to the payments of goods, works and services. The Compact includes an MCC investment of approximately $ 550 million and an additional Government contribution of $ 50 million for an aggregate amount of US $ 600 million. It includes three projects:

The project "Modernization and Strengthening of the Sendee Transmission Network" aims to improve the quality of Senelec`s network to reduce household and business expenses in alternative sources of energy;

The project "Broadening access to electricity in rural and peri-urban areas" aims to improve access to electricity in rural and peri-urban areas to promote the development of value chains and access to electricity in remote, low-density areas;

The project "Favorable framework and capacity building of the actors of the electricity sector" aims to improve the legal and institutional framework for a better business climate for private investments, the strengthening of regulation and competition in the energy sector, and the improvement of the quality of energy services and products.
