How can you make a difference?
General Objective
Under the supervision of the media producer consultant, the consultant will be in charge of strengthening UNICEF's image bank to illustrate child rights intervention programs. The consultant will identify with UNICEF the individuals who will be able to tell the script prepared jointly between the two entities. The photos will illustrate the issues faced by mothers and children in Madagascar but also the interventions of UNICEF with its partners.
Main tasks and responsibilities
The consultant is required to undertake the following tasks:
Before the shooting missions:
• UNICEF will facilitate understanding of the activities and achievements of the project during a briefing;
• The consultant will provide a file including: the work plan and the portfolio.
During the shooting missions:
• The consultant will communicate with the UNICEF team the proposed changes to the scenarios and take into account their comments;
• The UNICEF team will focus through its ATR on site to facilitate shooting, mobilization of actors, ... etc.
• UNICEF will seek filming authorizations for program beneficiaries, but the consultant must cover all related expenses (to be included in his offer if there is a cost) to the rights to the film. image and broadcast rights (complete parental consent provided by UNICEF).
After the shooting missions:
• The service provider must carry out post-production work on the photos and include in each file and in a separate word file the information required for the caption.
• The provider will need to make the necessary changes to the captions (in English and French) for each photo until final approval by UNICEF.
• The provider will have to select the 10 best photos for each proposed theme (communicated during the briefing).
• The provider must file the files in folders that will be classified by thematic.
• The provider must gradually deliver the products according to the priorities of the office.
Expected deliverables
• 10 Double DVD including all JPG color photos (high resolution version and medium resolution version) + CD sleeve.
• At least 10 HD photos for each theme and 60 generic children and landscape photos.
The programs to cover:
• Legends classified by thematic and to be saved in a word file, sub-thematic and description.

Duration of the consultation
The consultation is planned for a total duration of 30 calendar days including 18 days of shooting and 12 days of post production. The location and number of shooting days are subject to change depending on the briefing meeting with UNICEF.
Supervision and working conditions
• The consultant will use his own equipment (software, camera, mounting material and supplies, drone, etc.).
• For the realization, the consultant must be accompanied by an assistant whose performance must be included in his financial offer in the form of a detailed table.
• UNICEF will have to bear all the expenses related to the transport (air ticket and cars) during the descents on grounds but the consultant will make sure to put in its tender all the other expenses (indemnities on the grounds, accommodation, meals, etc. ...
Financial offer
The consultant will propose a financial offer on:
- daily fees in the field for shooting;
- Assistant's fee;

Fee payments will be as follows:
• 50% at the end of the first mission
• 50% after delivery of all final products.
To qualify as an advocate for each child, you will need:
• University degree in communication, photography, film, communication or a certificate of training in photography.

• Having already done the renewal of image bank at least for 3 companies
