Tenders are invited for Colombia: Terms of Reference: Consultancy Recruiter and Coach - Advanced Training Programme 1325 Colombia.
The Kvinna till Kvinna foundation is looking for a consultant to recruit and provide a short-list of 25 candidates and to guide the participants in their project planning and implementation during the project “Capacity building program on the UNSCR 1325 - Women, Peace and Security agenda - Colombia”

The Kvinna till Kvinna Foundation is a Swedish non-profit organisation that supports women in a context of war and conflict and works to increase women's power and influence in such contexts. Kvinna till Kvinna-s overall vision is a world with sustainable peace based on democracy and gender equality and in which conflicts are managed through non-military means. It envisions a world where equal human rights for women and men, girls and boys, are respected, and where everyone can feel safe regardless of gender, age or ethnicity.
About the Consultancy:
The consultant is part of the team that will work with Kvinna till Kvinna-s Advanced Training on UNSCR 1325 - Women, Peace and Security agenda, carried out by Kvinna till Kvinna on behalf of Swedish Embassy in Colombia.
The program targets the Ministry of Defense, the Armed Forces and the National Police members working with women peace and security agenda. The expected programme outcome is: Strengthen the capacity to implement the Women, Peace and Security agenda in terms of knowledge and tools.
As recruiter you have the responsibility to prepare and implement the recruitment of participants in the training, following the criteria stablished by The Kvinna till Kvinna Foundation, in collaboration with a recruiter-s team and in accordance with Kvinna till Kvinna-s mandate, policies, delegation of authority, working methods, operational plan, budget and agreements with donors.
As a coach you hold networking, interviews and capacity building responsibilities. You supervise the work of a group of students and the quality of their training projects.
Additionally, you are Kvinna till Kvinna-s representative in the country during your work. This also entails networking and maintaining relationships with relevant international and national stakeholders in the programme and developing and maintaining a partnership with participants in the training.
The assignment requires several national trips and meetings by distance. The Recruiter & Coach for the Colombia Advanced Training on the UNSCR 1325 - Women, Peace and Security reports to the Programme Manager.
Requirements
Bachelor-s degree in political science, Gender studies, International relations, Development studies, or another relevant field
Proved knowledge and experience from recruitment
Proved experience of methods development and capacity-building, preferrably in a coaching role.
Minimum five years of work experience, including at least two with responsibilities to coordinate people
Familiarity with the military issues in Colombia.
Fluent in Spanish, written and oral.
Experience working with promotion of gender equality/respect for women-s rights; peacebuilding/conflict resolution; women-s empowerment; gender-based violence prevention; and/or support to women-s human rights defenders
Solid knowledge of political, social, economic and human rights situation in Colombia
Working profficency in English

Engaged and interested in women-s rights
Ability to handle stressful situation and peaks of intense workload, while keeping a healthy work/life balance
Merits
Knowledge of International Human Rights Law and/or International Humanitarian Law
Master-s degree in political science, Gender studies, International relations, Development studies or other relevant field from a recognized university
Familiarity with Kvinna till Kvinna-s mandate and working methods
