GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE

This Notice is an update to the GPN published on the EBRD-s website on June 27th, 2018.

The Government of the Republic of Moldova intends to use the proceeds of loans received from European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) under the Loan Agreement - Moldova Road Rehabilitation Project IV in amount of EUR 150 million and from European Investment Bank (EIB) under the Finance Contract - Moldova Roads III in amount of EUR 150 million to rehabilitate part of its national road network. The proposed projects will require the procurement of works and services following the open international tendering procedures.

*Note: The Contract names provided in brackets represent the new names of the roads in subject.

Tendering for the above contracts is expected to begin in the 4th quarter of the 2018.

Contracts to be financed with the proceeds of loans from the Banks will be subject to the EBRD`s Procurement Policies and Rules or EIB-s Guide to Procurement accordingly, and will be open to firms from any country. The proceeds of the Banks- loans will not be used for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, or for any import of goods, if such payment or import is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations or under a law of official regulation of the Republic of Moldova.
