Tender Details

Prequalifications are invited for Construction of Pipeline Distribution Network of 28.6km for Kazaure Township.

1. PREAMBLE:
The Government of Jigawa State through the Jigawa state water board hereby invites tenders from reputable contractors for the construction of pipeline distribution network of 28.6km for kazaure township.

2. PROJECT SCOPE:
Construction of pipeline distribution network of 28.6km for Kazaure Township.

3. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for pre-qualification, interested competent and reliable contractors are required to provide verifiable evidence including but not limited to the following documents:
a. Certificate of incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission:
b. Certified true copy of Memorandum and Article of Association;
c. Evidence of registration with Jigawa State Works Registration Board;
d. Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years;
e. Audited account for the last one (1) year;
f. VAT registration and evidence of past remittance;
g. Evidence of financial capability and banking support;
h. Company annual turnover of not less than N300 million.
i. 2% Bid security of total amount quoted
j. All documents for submission must be transmitted with a forwarding letter under the company’s Letterhead Paper bearing the CAC Registration Number (RC), Contact Address, Telephone Number (preferably GSM No) and e-mail address
Any prospective bidder that does not possess any of the above documents should not apply.

4. COLLECTION AND SUBMISSION OF TENDER DOCUMENT AND COMPANY PROFILE
Interested bidders are to collect the Tender documents from the office of the Director planning of the Agency, shuwarin, kiyawa Road Dutse on payment of nonrefundable tender fee of thirty thousand naira only (N30, 000). Collection of tender documents shall commence from Friday 29th November 2019 between 9.00am to 3.00pm Monday to Friday, except on public holidays.

Completed tender document and company profile, which shall be in three copies(one original and two photocopies) are to be submitted in sealed envelope marked with companies bid invitation number at the top left hand corner, and address to : The Ag Managing Director Jigawa State Water Board, shuwarin, Kiyawa Road, Dutse. Sealed envelope will be received at Water Board Office until 12:00 hours Thursday 12th December 2019.

Bid opening shall take place at the conference of the Ministry of water resources block B new state secretariat complex Dutse Jigawa state by 12 noon. The representative of the bidders and the general public are invited to witness the public opening of the bid.
