Tenders are invited for Palapye Mmamashia (nsc2.2) Water Transfer Project Construction of Masama Mmamashia Pipeline Contract No.1

Closing Date: 19 September 2018 at 10:00 (Local Time)
Site Inspection: A compulsory pre-tender site visit will be conducted on 24 August 2018, starting at 08:30 hours. Tenderers are advised to convene outside the Masama East Wellfield Site Entrance. Due to the tight programme for the day, registration of tenderers will be closed at 09:30 hours, to allow the site tour to commence shortly thereafter. Late comers will not be entertained. Tenderers will be required to provide their own transport. This visit shall be followed by a tender clarification meeting with representatives of the Procuring Entity which will take place the same day in the afternoon, commencing at 1430 hours at the Mmamashia Treatment Works Conference Room.
Restriction: Tenderers that are foreign owned entities are notified that in line with Citizen Economic Empowerment Policy (CEEP), there shall be mandatory sub-contracting of or JV association with 100% citizen owned contractor(s), who shall undertake works to a minimum of 10% of total contract value as a fully bona fide domestic sub-contractor. Tax Clearance Certificate. Local Contractors; Local companies to provide a Taxpayer PIN and Tax Clearance Certificate No. MLWS PMO will verify their validity on the BURS e-services portal at www.bur.org.bw. Regional/international contractors to submit a certified Exemption Certificate obtained from the Botswana Unified Revenue Authorities.
