Prequalifications are invited for Construction of new 2x60MVA, 132/33kV GIS Substation at Eko Atlantic City.



ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS (NIGERIAN COMPANIES ONLY)
Suitable Companies are invited to participate in the prequalification exercise by submitting the following pre-requisite requirements:

1. Certificate of Incorporation with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in Nigeria with forms C02 and C07)

2. Current Tax Clearance Certificate for the past three years (2016, 2017 and 2018) valid till 31stDecember 2019

3. Three years company Audited Financial Accounts duly stamped by a registered Auditor for the year (2016, 2017 and 2018)

4. Evidence of current PENCOM compliance Certificate valid till 31stDecember 2019

5. Evidence of current Industrial Training Fund (ITF) certificate in compliance with the provision of Industrial Training Fund (ITF) valid till 31stDecember 2019

6. Evidence of Registration on the National Database of Federal Contractors, Consultants and Service Providers y submission of Interim Registration Report (IRR) expiring on 31/1/2020 or valid Certificate issued by BPP

7. Evidence of current Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund Compliance Certificate valid till 31stDecember 2019

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS (FOREIGN COMPANIES)
Evidence of Company Registration in Home Country
Evidence of Tax Clearance Certificate for past three (3) years (2016, 2017 & 2018)
Three years Company Audited Account (2016, 2017 & 2018)

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
The under listed qualification requirements applies to both local and foreign companies, including joint ventures

1. Minimum Average Annual Construction turnover over the past five (5) years as shown below:

Lot 2 – Twenty-Seven Million US Dollars (US$27, 000, 000.00)

The Applicant shall demonstrate that it has access to, or has available liquid assets, unencumbered real assets, lines of credit, and other financial means (independent of any contractual advance payment) sufficient to meet the construction cash flow requirements estimated as follows:
Lot 2 – Three Million US Dollars (US$3, 000, 000.00)

Evidence of similar experience with contract awards, valuation certificate, job completion certificates and photograph of at least three (3) projects of similar nature (330KV and above) and complexity executed in the last five years each of minimum value as follows:
Lot 2 – Seven Million, Two Hundred Thousand US Dollars (US$7, 200, 000.00)


SUBMISSION OF DOCUMENTS
One original, a copy and soft copy of the document are to be submitted. The names and mailing addresses of the applicant companies must be clearly marked on the envelope(s) bearing the submissions. All the information requested for pre-qualification must be provided in English Language by all applicants.

Failure to provide information/supporting document that is essential for the evaluation of applicant’s qualifications, or to provide timely clarification or substantiation of the information supplies, may result in disqualification of the applicant.

Completed prequalification documents should be submitted in sealed envelopes clearly marked “APPLICATION FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION FOR Engineering Design, Procurement, Manufacture, Supply, Construction & Commissioning of 330KV Double Circuit Transmission Line (10km) or 2X60MVA, 132/33KV GIS Substations LOT……………delivered by hand or registered mail to above stated address to reach her not later than 12:00 noon Monday 7thOctober, 2019.

OPENING OF PRE-QUALIFICATION DOCUMENTS
Opening of pre-qualification document will be at 12:00 Noon Monday 7thOctober, 2019 at the above stated address Plot 1285, Wikki Spring Street, Maitama Extension, Abuja.

PLEASE NOTE
Bids submission after the deadline shall be returned unopened to the respective bidders
Any contractor engaged in TCN, PHCN, PMU or NIPP project whose performance has been proven to be unsatisfactory shall NOT be pre-qualified in line with the provision of Section 16(8)(b) of Public Procurement Act, 2007
TCN reserves the right to verify any claim by Applicants and should, therefore, include in their submissions necessary authority and guarantee for such verification
