Re. Letter of Invitation to Bid for the Construction of Five Manual Drill Wells in Margibi

Dear Sir/Madam:

EQUIP Liberia implementing an Integrated Ebola Recovery Project is sponsored by Mission Alliance in Gbarpolu, Nimba, Margibi and Montserrado Counties, Liberia. The project activities require construction of wells in communities in Margibi, Nimba and Gbarpolu Cpunties.

We write to invite interested construction Company/Manual Drill Company to submit a closed bid containing Bill of Quantities (BoQ) for a well for the construction of Five (5) Manual Drill Wells in Margibi County, Liberia. Your quotation along with quotes from other interested bidders will be opened and examined by a team of panel who will then select the company with the most reasonable quote and requisite experience. The participating Companies involve in the process will be notified of the result. After which a contract will be awarded to the successful bidder for the construction of said wells under Equip Liberia/Mission Alliance project.

Qualifications / Requirements for the bid are:

1. Valid Business Registration

2. Recent Tax Clearance

3. Past Reference for Manual Drill Wells Construction in rural communities in Liberia for the past three (3) years (Work in Margibi County is an added advantage)

4. Transportation Capacity

5. Resume of key Staffs involve in the Manual Drilling for the entity

6. Sectorial Clearance from line Ministry or Agency of Government link to Manual Drilling in Liberia

7. Ability to speak the local language of the beneficiary community is an added advantage

Therefore, all potential bidders are asked to submit a Bill of Quantities (BoQ) for the construction of one Manual Drill Well along with all other selection requirements in a sealed envelope addressed to the Manual Drill Well Bid Committee, EQUIP Liberia, Opposite ELWA Studio Junction, Paynesville or email to: hr@equiplib.org

The deadline for the submission of all bids is Saturday, March 14, 2020 at EQUIP Head Office in Paynesville or though the provided email address. Any bid coming in after 5p.m. on March 14 will not be considered.

The opening and examining of all bids is Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at EQUIP Head Office in Paynesville from 10a.m. -11a.m.
