Tender Details

Tenders are invited for Construction of Hora Hadley Well field & Ayaha 1&2 Water Supply System.

1. The Government of Somaliland (GoSL) through Somaliland Development Fund (SDF) has received funding from Department for International Development (DFID), the Danish International Development Agency (DANIDA), the Embassy of Norway and the Kingdom of the Netherlands and has allocated part of the funding towards Construction of Hora Hadley Well field & Ayaha 1&2 Settlement Water Supply System Project implemented by Hargeisa Water Agency. Hargeisa Water Agency intends to use a part of the funding for Procurement of Lot 1 of Wellfield Collector 1 works IFB – ICB No. P379

2. The works involve excavation, pipe laying and related construction works as per specifications provided in Instruction to Bidders document (ITB) for Lot 1 of Wellfield Collector 1.

3. The Somaliland Development Fund Secretariat now invites bids from eligible and qualified bidders for Construction of Lot 1 of Wellfield Collector 1 as described under VII – Works Requirements in the detailed bidding documents.

4. Bidding will be in accordance with the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures as specified in the SDF Procurement Manual under the section for Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services 2018, which can be found at the following website: somalilanddevelopmentfund.org and is open to all eligible bidders. The bid shall be open for 6 weeks from the date of the advertisement.

5. Interested bidders can request for bidding documents from SDF Secretariat through the address indicated in number eight (8) below.

6. This IFB is subject to the actual commencement of the Somaliland Development Fund Phase 2 which is expected to start in September 2018.

7. Sealed bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 29 August 2018 at 1100 hours East African Standard Time. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the address below on 29 August 2018 at 1100 Hours.
