Tender Details

Tenders are invited for Construction Coordination, Management and Supervision Services for Infrastructure Works under the Wastewater Collection Project in Loma Blanca, Chihuahua.

The Chihuahua state water agency, Junta Central de Agua y Saneamiento del Estado de Chihuahua (JCAS), is planning to carry out construction work related to a wastewater collection project in Loma Blanca, Chihuahua, which will be partially financed by a grant from the North American Development Bank (NADB), through its Border Environment Infrastructure Fund (BEIF), which is funded by contributions from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

The infrastructure works that JCAS plans to build consist of:
• 2, 760 m of sewer lines using 200 mm diameter PVC pipe;
• 270 residential connections;
• 993 yard lines; and
• decommissioning of 980 on-site sanitary systems.

NADB intends to contract a qualified consulting firm to provide Construction Coordination, Management and Supervision Services for Infrastructure Works under the Wastewater Collection Project in Loma Blanca, Chihuahua. The services will consist of verifying that construction work is carried out in accordance with the designs, specifications and established standards, as well as monitoring project performance and the proper use of funds provided by NADB. These services are expected to begin in the second quarter of 2019 and will have a duration of approximately nine (9) months.

The consultant will be selected and contracted in accordance with NADB Procurement Regulations, as NADB will be the Executing Agency. Consulting firms that have experience in similar works and are interested in participating in the selection process should send an expression of interest to NADB via e-mail at the address indicated below no later than March 7, 2019.

Proposals are to be delivered via an electronic repository no later than 5:00 PM (Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico/El Paso, Texas US time) on March 28, 2019. NADB will provide instructions for submitting proposals only to those firms that confirm their participation by e-mail at the address indicated below on or before March 7, 2019. Proposals sent via e-mail will not be accepted.
