INVITATION TO BID

CONSTRUCTION OF COMMUNAL IRRIGATION SYSTEM (CIS)



1. The Municipal Government of Adams, through funds from the Tobacco Excise Tax Share of the municipality ( LBM No.:76) intends to apply the sum of Php 465, 307.74 being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for the CONSTRUCTION OF COMMUNAL IRRIGATION SYSTEM (CIS). Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening.



2. The Municipal Government of Adams now invites bidders for the CONSTRUCTION OF COMMUNAL IRRIGATION SYSTEM (CIS), Lower Anat-Buaw, Adams, Ilocos Norte. The completion of work is required within 35 calendar days. Bidders should have completed, within ten (10) years from the date of submission and receipt of bids, a contract similar to the Project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II of Instructions to Bidders.



3. Interested bidders may obtain further information from the Bids and Awards Committee Office of the Municipal Government of Adams and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 9:00am to 4:00pm, Mondays to Fridays.



4. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested Bidders from, July 20, 2018 to July 30, 2018 from the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee for the bidding documents in the amount of Five Hundred Pesos (PhP 500.00).



5. It may also be downloaded free of charge from the website of the Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System (PhilGEPS) provided that bidders shall pay the non-refundable fee for the Bidding Documents not later than the submission of their bids.



6. Bids must be delivered on or before July 30, 2018 10:00 A.M.at the Office of the Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator 1stFlr, Northwestern Annex, Municipal Auditorium Poblacion #1, Adams, Adams, Ilocos Norte. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Securing Declaration or bid security in the amount of Php 9, 306.15 in the form of Cash, certified (Cashier-s or Manager-s) Check or in the form of Bank Guarantee issued by a universal or commercial Bank.

7. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders- representatives who choose to attend at the address below. Late bids shall not be accepted.

8. The Municipal Government of Adams reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, to annul the bidding process, and to reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders.
