Tender Details

Tenders are invited for Construction and Rehabilitation of Baidoa Schools under ECHO and MFA Finland Projects in Baidoa District, South West State of Somalia.

FCA Somalia is launching an open tender and invites interested suppliers to provide a bid for construction works:

Bids shall be accompanied with the following documents for preliminary evaluation:

Company’s profile and license from relevant authorities
Record of past experience in implementing similar construction activities
Financial reports from the past 1 year
Bidding will be conducted through an open tender procedure.

Please note:

1. All the construction / rehabilitation works are for Education in Emergencies projects supported by ECHO and MFA Finland.

2. Please note, the bid prices shall be quoted in USD only.

3. The proposal and offers will be selected based on price, quality and delivery timelines.

4. All bids, in English language only, must be delivered electronically through the procurement site / hilma.fi, or to FCA Somalia Baidoa office (see contact information below) by 22nd Oct, 2018, 2:00pm (GMT+2), in a sealed envelope with the tender reference and company name written on the envelope. Late bids will be rejected without exception. Applicants with questions regarding this tender should send them in writing to email procurement.soco@kua.fi by 15th Oct 2018, 4:00pm (GMT+2).

5. Tenders will be opened at the address mentioned below at the time stated in the tender dossier. Tenderers or their authorized representative can be present at the opening of tenders.

6. The successful bidder shall place a 10% performance bond (bank guarantee) upon signing the contract.

7. Tender documents will be available from 28th Sept at 16:00pm (GMT+2) to 18th Oct at 4:00pm (GMT+2) and on hilma.fi for the tebdering period. Interested Bidders may obtain a complete set of bidding documents in English at no cost from the contact mentioned below.
