Request for proposals are invited for Conduct a Project Audit Pursuant to the Accountable Grant Agreement for a DFID Funded Grant Implemented by Uganda Bureau of Statistics (UBOS)

Malaria Consortium (registered in England number 4785712 and registered charity number 1099776) having its Uganda Country Programme office at Plot 25, Upper Naguru East Road, Naguru, Kampala and registration number 0089 dated 24th November 2017 with Non-Governmental Organization Bureau, Government of Uganda, was engaged by DFID to implement the Uganda Malaria Indicator Survey (UMIS) through the Accountable Grant Agreement.

This accountable grant was part of a multilateral funding for the 2018-19 Uganda Malaria Indicator Survey (UMIS) that was executed by the Uganda Bureau of Statistics (UBOS). It was the third UMIS and fieldwork started November 2018. DFID provided funding for the field implementation component of the survey. DFID contracted Malaria Consortium through the accountable grant contract to channel the funds to UBOS and ensure their proper utilisation to achieve the objectives of the UMIS. The overall objective of the UMIS as a national sample was to provide information on malaria prevention, treatment, and prevalence in Uganda


The Project. In October 2018, DFID and MC jointly signed an Agreement (“the Accountable Grant Agreement”) “The MC Project”, whereby DFID agreed to provide project funding in an amount up to £516, 762 to MC (“the Grantee”).
