INVITATION TO BID FOR

CONCRETING OF MUNICIPAL AND OTHER ROADS



1. The MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF BALLESTEROS, through its 2018 Annual Budget approved by the Sanggunian and from the Local Government Support Fund intends to apply the sum of Seventeen Million Six Hundred Thousand Pesos (P17, 600, 000.00) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for Project Reference No. 19-2018 -œConcreting of Municipal and Other Roads-. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening.

2. The MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF BALLESTEROS now invites bids for the concreting of roads with a clustered length of 1426 linear meters (width: 5 meters; thickness: 0.150 meters) and 1796 linear meters (width: 4 meters; thickness: 0.150 meters). Completion of the Works is required within one hundred fifty nine (159) calendar days from receipt of -œNotice To Proceed-. Bidders must have completed, within five (5) years from the date of submission and receipt of bids, a contract similar to the Project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II. Instructions to Bidders.

3. Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using non-discretionary pass/fail criterion as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act 9184 (RA 9184), otherwise known as the -œGovernment Procurement Reform Act-.

Bidding is restricted to Filipino citizens/sole proprietorships, partnerships, or organizations with at least seventy five percent (75%) interest or outstanding capital stock belonging to citizens of the Philippines.

4. Interested bidders may obtain further information from the MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF BALLESTEROS and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 8:00AM - 5:00PM.

5. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested Bidders on November 11 - December 3, 2018 from the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee for the Bidding Documents in the amount of Seventeen Thousand Six Hundred Pesos (P17, 600.00).

6. The MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF BALLESTEROS will hold a Pre-Bid Conference on 1:30PM of November 19, 2018, at the Executive Conference Room, Second Floor, Municipal Town Hall, Ballesteros, Cagayan which shall be open to all interested parties.

7. Bids must be duly received by the BAC Secretariat to the address below on or before 11:30AM of December 3, 2018. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in any of the acceptable forms and in the amount stated in ITB Clause 18.

Bid opening shall be on 3:30PM of December 3, 2018 at the Executive Conference Room, Second Floor, Municipal Town Hall, Ballesteros, Cagayan. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders- representatives who choose to attend at the address below. Late bids shall not be accepted.

8. The MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF BALLESTEROS, Cagayan reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to annul the bidding process, to waive any informality in the bids received and to accept such bid which is more advantageous to the Local Government Unit without thereby incurring liability to the affected bidder/s or any obligation to inform the affected bidder/s of the ground for the Local Government Unit-s action in accordance with the provisions of RA N0:9184.For further information, please refer to:
