Description: The Award Ceiling for Year 1 is 0 (none). CDC anticipates an Approximate Total Fiscal Year Funding amount of $7, 000, 000 for Year 1, subject to the availability of funds.This NOFO is intended to support implementation of a comprehensive public health response to new HIV infections for a sustained epidemic control in Lesotho. The program will engage in comprehensive and evidence-based community HIV prevention, testing and treatment initiation for the general population and other at-risk groups such as youth, men, migrant and factory workers, as well as building capacity of local organizations, civil society organizations and community systems in implementing data-driven programming. The project will use hot-spot mapping for HIV testing and contact tracing as informed by facility and community-based surveillance, recency and other HIV programmatic and epidemiological data; with same-day onsite ART initiation for the positives, and timely PrEP initiation and/or linkages to VMMC for the eligible negatives.
