Tender Details

Palmerston North City Council (the Council) is embarking on a transformation to replace and rationalise ageing technology, modernise business processes and systems and establish more integrated solutions that can drive efficient, best practice based, end-to-end business processes across multiple applications and across the Council.

The Council has issued a closed Request for Proposals (RFP) to suppliers shortlisted from its earlier expression of interest process (Shortlisted Suppliers), for the supply of a fully integrated solution to meet its business requirements across six core areas. The Council recognises that the scope of its core requirements is expansive and few, if any, suppliers will be able to deliver all its requirements.

To assist Shortlisted Suppliers to identify potential delivery partners, the Council is issuing this Request for Information (RFI), inviting suppliers of specialist modules to outline their relevant area of interest and contact details. The Council will pass on to all Shortlisted Suppliers, the information supplied in responses to this RFI. It will then be up to Shortlisted Suppliers and respondents to this RFI to explore possible collaboration opportunities.

The six core areas of requirements, which may be delivered by one or more software applications, include:

• Core Financial (including Project Accounting & Job Management)

• Regulatory (including resource consents, animal management, infringements, licensing, etc.)

• Property & Rating

• Procurement & Contract Management (including Sourcing & Supplier Management)

• Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting

• Reporting and Analytics

Interested suppliers are invited to submit a response that sets out their relevant area of interest, brief information about the software applications they have available, and contact details. There is no template for responses.
