Expression of Interest are invited fo Communications Specialist - Social Accountability Innovation Activity (SAIA), Cambodia.

Tetra Tech International Development Services headquartered in Arlington, VA is currently accepting expressions of interest from qualified candidates for a potential Communications Specialist position on an anticipated USAID funded program in Cambodia. This activity will engage with Cambodian youth-led groups and foster the development and use of innovative approaches -- including tools and platforms based on digital technologies -- to promote information sharing aimed at improving public services (e.g., health, education, municipal services).

Position Description:

The Communications Specialist will be responsible for the development, management, continuous improvement and expansion of the public outreach and communications function on the project, including but not limited to: development of a comprehensive communications and outreach plan; development of materials and other media to disseminate information about project successes and lessons learned to the media, project partners and stakeholders, and USAID; development of success stories for submission to USAID; contribution to program reports; conducting special research on issues deemed important to the project, such as in the areas of gender, and improvement in quality of life. Provide technical advice and support to ensure that communications and information products are at the highest level of quality and integrity, and will ensure compliance with USAID documentation, information products, and, branding and marking standards. This is anticipated to be a full-time position based in Cambodia for four years.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor-s degree in any of the following or related fields: communications, public relations, international development, psychology or related discipline;

* At least 10 years- experience related to media development and communications USAID experience preferred. Must have an understanding of USG (particularly USAID) communications and marketing procedures;

* Demonstrated ability to develop and lead effective public outreach campaigns; demonstrated ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams; experience developing and adapting multi-media messages for a diverse range of stakeholders; demonstrated ability to train and build capacity for advocacy.;

* Training and facilitation; ability to engage with multiple stakeholders; media material developments;

* Experienced in Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator; Experienced in social media management and engagement tools such as Hootsuite. Excellent writing and communications skills (written and verbal) and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals;

* Professional fluency in English is required
