Expression of Interest are invited for Communication Consultancy Services.

2. The African Development Bank hereby invites Individual Consultants to indicate their interest in the following Assignment: Communication Consultancy Services.

3. The services to be provided under the Assignment include:

The consultant will be responsible for all communication work for the Complex with focus on the implementation of the Private Sector, Infrastructure and Industrialization strategies and implementation plans and other related communication activities as advised by PIVP Management.

The consultancy service will aim at communicating with target audience; using the most adequate and effective approaches, tools and channels in view of disseminating key messages and stories designed. These stories aims to (1) increase the visibility of the Bank’s interventions led by PIVP, focusing on Private Sector, Infrastructure, urbanization, industrialization, trade, etc.; (2) reach effective brand positioning; and (3) ensure PIVP compliance with AfDB’s accountability and transparency requirements as stipulated in the African Development Bank Group Policy for Public Disclosure of Information.

4. The estimated duration of services is twelve (12) months and the estimated starting date is 1st September 2018.

5. The PIVP Complex invites Individual Consultants to indicate their interest in providing the abovedescribed services. Interested Consultants shall provide information on their qualifications and experience demonstrating their ability to undertake this Assignment (documents, reference to similar services, experience in similar assignments, etc.).

6. The eligibility criteria, the establishment of a short list and the selection procedure shall be in conformity with the Bank’s Rules and Procedure for the Selection of Corporate Consultants. Please, note that interest expressed by a Consultant does not imply any obligation on the part of the Bank to include him/her in the shortlist.

7. Interested Individual Consultants may obtain further information at the address below during the Bank’s working hours of 8:00 to 17:00 GMT.

8. Expressions of interest must be received at the address below no later than 26th July 2018 at 17:00 GMT and specifically mentioning ‘PIVP Communication Consultancy Services’.

ESTABLISHMENT OF THE SHORT LIST
9. A shortlist of three to six individual consultants will be established at the end the request of
expressions of interest. The consultants on the shortlist will be judged on the following criteria on the
basis of their updated resume.
Level of education in general 20%
Educational level compared to the field of mission 20%
Years of experience in general 20%
Number of years of experience relevant to the mission 40%
