The DLDSP operates through the Local Development Directorate (LDD) at the Ministry of Interior (MOI) and through its corresponding LDD at the Ministry of Municipal Affairs (MOMA). It functions under the guidance of the Inter-Ministerial Committee (IMC) for Decentralization and its Executive Committee and its sub-committees.
