The humanitarian engagement of UN Women is guided by its triple mandate (normative, coordinatedand operations) through a "3x3x4 Approach": the triple mandate, supported by three programs: SRI (GenderInequality in Risk), LEAP (Leadership, Empowerment, Access and Protection of Women) and WPHF (the Fund for peace and women's humanitarian action), and implemented according to four principles: localization, coordination, prob-antes and targeted actions. UN Women is co-chair of the IASC Gender Reference Group, leads the Gender Policy and Accountability Framework, and coordinates gender issues in humanitarian country teams.
