Description: The procurement covers cleaning and cleaning-related services as well as caretaking for all of Uppsala's administrations, Region Uppsala's related organizations, such as Kommunalförbundet Avancerad Radålbehandling, and private care facilities with which Region Uppsala has an agreement. In addition, there are a number of private care providers with care agreements that should be able to call off parts of the requested service. The assignment pertains to management objects and areas for 2019 of a total of approximately 150 buildings with a cleaning area of ​​approximately 400, 000 m2.

For information, the Region purchased cleaning and cleaning-related services as well as caretaker services in 2019 for approximately SEK 110 million. Special requirements and regulations regulate cleaning within the health care system. Cleaning is an important prerequisite for good hygiene. The region does not guarantee any volume during the term of the agreement, but calls off gradually if necessary. The region currently has an agreement with ISS Facility Services AB.
